Original Turquoise in Pakistan stone also called (Feroza) is one of the oddest and most esteemed gems in the history. People have been using Feroza stone as a pattern and an attractive item for thousands of years. Chemically, this impervious mineral is a hydrated phosphate of aluminum and copper. The blue-to-green hue of the stone works as a cause of excessive attraction for the spectators. Appropriately, like several other opaque stones, turquoise (Feroza) is now being degraded. The synthetics and mockups have contributed to its devaluing.
During different periods of the history, the Feroza gem has been known by different names. The current name ‘turquoise’ dates back to the 17th century. It was the Turks who first introduced the mineral to Europe. So the French named it as ‘turques’ meaning “Turks”. Where did the Turks find it from? Well, they brought it from the Persian province of Khorasan.
The bodily assets of turquoise vary dependent on the nature, kind and capacity of the impurities present in it. Moreover, the mineral does not always have the same clear configuration. This also meaningfully gives to variation in the physical as well as chemical properties of the stone which, accordingly, affect the Feroza stone price. Its hardness may be slightly more than that of a window glass. Turning to color, it shows many similarities as is the case with other belongings. Dissimilar examples can show the color variations ranging from white to blue-green or yellowish green. Sometimes, it may also look as powder blue or sky blue.
The crystalline structure of turquoise has been found to cover different types of layers. For example, pyrite flakes may be surrounded in it which appears as shining dots. The absorbent structure of the stone contains numerous moods running through it. Sometimes, these veins are filled with black oxide. In other instances, secondary copper materials, like Chrysocolla, are intergrown together with turquoise.
